Who we are
The SpotloanApplyUSA Editorial Team writes and maintains every page on this website. We publish under a shared team byline instead of individual names, so readers judge our pages by what can be checked: the sources we cite, the dates we show and the math we explain.
We focus on one narrow subject — Spotloan and the short-term loan options people compare it with — so we can keep a small set of facts accurate and current rather than covering everything loosely. We are not employed by Spotloan, Ningo Lending LLC, or any lender, and no lender reviews or approves what we publish. SpotloanApplyUSA is an independent loan-request service; you can read how that works on our about page.
What we cover
- How Spotloan works — amounts, terms, APR tiers, funding times and requirements, taken from Spotloan’s own pages. Start with Spotloan loans or the Spotloan application guide.
- What it costs — cost examples built with a documented simple-daily-interest model that reproduces Spotloan’s own published example. Try the Spotloan calculator.
- Legitimacy and legal history — ownership, tribal licensing, settlements and regulator actions, described neutrally with links to the records. See Is Spotloan legit?
- Help when things go wrong — contacting Spotloan, changing payments and borrower rights. See Can’t pay Spotloan?
- Alternatives — other lenders and lower-cost options, with published terms labeled for readers to verify. See loans like Spotloan.
How we research and check
- Primary sources first. Spotloan’s FAQ, How It Works page and disclosures are our source for its terms. Regulator notices, court settlements and agency guidance (CFPB, NCUA, FTC, state regulators) come next.
- One fact sheet. Key facts live in a single internal fact sheet with a verification date, so every page uses the same numbers.
- Separate fact-check step. Before publishing, each rate, dollar amount, date and state list on a page is checked against the fact sheet and its source.
- Dated and sourced. Every page shows when it was last verified and lists its sources.
- Monthly re-verification. We re-check key Spotloan facts at least monthly and update pages when something changes.
Read the full rules in our editorial policy, including how we use software and AI tools and how we handle conflicts of interest.
What we don’t do
- We don’t publish customer testimonials, star ratings or invented quotes.
- We don’t present ourselves as Spotloan, and we can’t see or change anyone’s Spotloan account.
- We don’t promise approval or say a loan has “no credit check.”
- We don’t let lenders or partners change our facts or conclusions. How we earn money is explained in our disclosures.
Corrections and contact
If you spot something wrong or out of date, email [email protected] with the page address and what you believe needs fixing. We check the source and correct the page if needed; meaningful corrections update the page’s verified date. For anything about an existing Spotloan, contact Spotloan directly — our Spotloan customer service page lists its official phone, email and hours.
